We’re two lifelong best friends and childhood neighbors who were caught in the whirlwind of corporate life, where looking sharp and “put together” was a must.
We found ourselves constantly updating our wardrobes with new shoes, the latest bags, trendy clothes—often turning to fast fashion to keep up. As our closets were overflowing, we realized that quality beats quantity, and we started investing in fewer, but better pieces.
However, there was one problem: when it came to caring for our shoes and bags nothing on the market felt like it was up to our standards.
Frustrated by the lack of safe, effective cleaning options, we decided to create a brand that we would actually want to use.
And that’s how PROPR was born, A new era in accessory care. On the go cleaning mitts for shoes, bags, wallets and more.
Wear longer, waste less
The U.S. throws away 13 million tons of clothing and footwear each year. On average, Americans throw away 70 pounds of textiles per person, per year. That adds up to 21 billion pounds of unnecessary waste added to our landfills. Propr is on a mission to extend the lifespan of your shoes & accessories. We will be donating to Soles4Souls to help divert unnecessary waste from ending up in landfills. Since 2006, Soles4Souls has diverted 99 million pounds of shoes and clothing from landfills in 34 countries and all 50 U.S. states, The District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
