Our story
Neighbor began with three founders who cared about design and kept running into the same problem.
Outdoor furniture was often treated like an afterthought. Well-designed pieces were often priced out of reach for everyday use. There was a clear need for thoughtfully designed furniture that felt comfortable to use, built to last, and crafted with the same care you expect indoors, without the trade-offs that usually come with it.
That belief still guides everything we design. Nothing accidental. Nothing added without a reason. If it’s there, it earned its place.
We take our work seriously. Ourselves, less so.
We care deeply about materials, craftsmanship, and the details that most people won’t notice at first, but will appreciate over time. We also value some fun, humor, perspective, and approachability. Those things matter when you’re building products meant to bring people together.
