ABOUT US
At Hape, we believe the best toys do more than keep children busy — they give curiosity somewhere to go.
Since 1986, we have been designing toys that invite children to build, imagine, experiment, create, and discover the world through play. From wooden kitchens and dollhouses to musical instruments, puzzles, outdoor exploration sets, and early-learning toys, every Hape product is created with a purpose beyond the playroom.
Our approach begins with how children naturally learn. Instead of telling them what to do, we create open-ended experiences that encourage problem-solving, creativity, movement, social skills, and independent thinking. The result is play that grows with the child rather than being forgotten after a few minutes.
We also believe the world children inherit matters just as much as the toys they grow up with. That is why we continue exploring materials such as responsibly sourced wood, bamboo, Green PE, cork, natural rubber, and other renewable alternatives while reducing unnecessary plastics and waste throughout production and packaging.
At Hape, our mission is simple: Love Play, Learn. We create toys for the small moments of discovery that eventually become big parts of childhood — because when children are free to play, there is no limit to what they can learn.
