Our Story

Hi, I’m Reed Wommack. I didn’t start GroundLuxe, but I believed in it enough to make it my life’s work.

Like many of you, I was skeptical the first time I read about grounding. Claims like “better sleep,” “less pain,” and “reduced inflammation” seemed too good to be true. If grounding was so effective, why wasn’t everyone doing it?

So, I decided to test the 20+ years of grounding research the only way I knew how — by grounding my friends and family. I gave away grounding sleep mats from other grounding companies to see if they really worked.

The results? Jaw-dropping. My father-in-law’s neuropathy vanished. My mother-in-law’s arthritis pain disappeared. Friend after friend who slept on the mats reported better sleep and real relief from pain.

But there was a problem: the black, carbon-based sleep mats were uncomfortable. Too hot. Too cold. Too stiff. Even though people felt better, they stopped using them.

That’s when I discovered GroundLuxe — a small, U.S.-based company that had been making luxuriously soft grounding bed sheets since 2021.

In February 2025, I bought GroundLuxe and set out on a mission: to make grounding simple, comfortable, and available to every household in America.

Since then, I’ve been working to spread the word about grounding, improve our existing products, revamp our customer support, and hire a full team to turn GroundLuxe into the preeminent grounding company in America.
